lastchancerenee 3 Posted March 29, 2014 My surgery day is approaching quick! I'm having band to sleeve revision on April 10th. Years of problems and regaining all my weight has brought me back to what feels like square one. I've spent the last few months training my mind that this is a lifestyle change. I am completely ready. But I have this nagging fear deep down that I am going to have problems with the sleeve as well. I just want to be a healthy weight, get rid of all the aches and pains and feel better about myself once and for all. My journey is just beginning. I need all the support I can get. Anyone else having the same thoughts/fears?
livelyterry 55 Posted March 29, 2014 Negative thinking from the beginning is not good. No offense, but you must change your thought process. The sleeve is very different from the band. I can tell you from experience. You will do great ! Now let's put our big girl panties on, and be positive !!!

Anyone else having the same thoughts/fears? I had my lapband for 6 years! I am 4 weeks out from my Revision and down 40 lbs. even if the weight loss ends up being slower ( which is not the case right now) I will be happy because today I ate 1 egg and a piece of bacon without that god awful stuck feeling in my chest and I didn't have to spend 30 min in the bathroom spitting. That alone was worth my revision. I also had sick people all around me till the day of surgery. Luckily I didn't catch it until a week after. You will do great!!! Get that band outta there!! 1 livelyterry reacted to this
Cassiecarson 7 Posted March 30, 2014 So glad to hear these stories. I'm scheduled for the 12th of this month and as we speak I'm choking on tuna. So ready for this beast to be out. I'm ready for positive life changes! 1 livelyterry reacted to this
