beckyloo4 40 Posted March 27, 2014 Anybody out there experiencing bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth since surgery? I'm exactly 2 weeks out, on pureed food for two days now. I can't quite explain it but it makes me want to use mouth wash and brush my teeth constantly.

sharondamagby 2 Posted March 29, 2014 I had that same problem. I am 2 1/2 wks post op and on the full liquid diet. My father, who had the surgery 14 yrs ago, told me to take a wash cloth and put white vinegar on it and wipe you tongue. It worked for me! The taste will come back but repeat as needed. 2 pquinn181 and Blue614 reacted to this

When I wake up I literally run to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I brush before I go to bed but my breath is absolutely disgusting in the morning lol
