If not, I would ask your doctor how much they removed. Where did you have surgery at: states or abroad?

Is it in your post-op instructions?

hopeful2loose2014 21 Posted March 29, 2014 I know all too well missing smoking as I smoked for 20 years and quit a few months ago. as far as smoking for u now the answer is never. It has been proven that smoking after the sleeve will cause you a bleeding ulcer. I would t recommend it and honestly if you have gone past 24 hours of not smoking your already there. Fight the craving and do t smoke.

Jennifer2575 55 Posted March 29, 2014 Omg wow thanks i had 2 so far now im scared. Really a bleeding ulcer, where did u read that.. If you read about it- nicotine invades body tissue. Your stomach pouch being so small can't take the potency of the nicotine so u can def get an ulcer which is super painful!!
GemmaLicious 25 Posted March 29, 2014 Hi guys, I gave up smoking over 4 months ago but I vape e-cigarettes now. I feel so much healthier, no longer have a constant cough and can taste and smell again. Is it not the tar and chemicals in a cigarette which are really bad for you and can cause problems healing or is it nicotine? E-cigs only have nicotine in no tar or chemicals. I don't think I can do this liquid diet without vaping, I'm struggling enough without being completely nicotine free as well. I'm due to have my operation on 1st April.
