Melanie36 71 Posted March 27, 2014 I've been told either June or July! Not sure which I'm hoping for.... Part of me wants to do this and be done with the surgery, and the other part wants a bit more time! Oh the battles our brains play with us.... 4 pquinn181, paigelarson89, stacy97006 and 1 other reacted to this
consuela11 8 Posted March 27, 2014 I should be having mine in June. I have one more appt after Monday and hope to schedule my surgery. does anyone know if they will go ahead and schedule the surgery while you are waiting for insurance approval? 1 m_rose reacted to this
m_rose 35 Posted March 27, 2014 @@consuela11 Well I went in for my first appointment on March 20th and already recieved a phone call on Monday the 24th stating my surgery date of June 30th. My insurance requires I lose 5% of my body weight to be approved. I think it varies from state to state, company to company. @@Melanie36 I hear ya there!! I feel like this is all happening so fast! It's so exciting but definitely nervewracking at the same time. 1 esined reacted to this
consuela11 8 Posted March 27, 2014 Thanks for the info. I had to complete 6 months seeing a nutr. I am right on the edge of where I won't be covered if I lose any weight. So I have been maintaining the past 4 months. That has been a little nerve racking. I can't lose any or gain Any.

esined 0 Posted March 31, 2014 @michelle_rose I was wondering if you could share your experiance with me? I'm also in Upstate NY and am thinking about moving forward with surgery I would like more information on the pre-op process from first contact to scheduling of surgery. How long was the process, what insurance do you have, etc. Thanks for your help any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
