debrajoann 0 Posted March 26, 2014 So I'm 99% sure my insurance WILL cover to get the sleeve, (i meet every standard) but as most other insurance companies i feel like they will give me the run around. Is there anything i can do to speed up the process?
1Day1Life4Now 882 Posted March 26, 2014 Have all your ducks in a row. Find out what the insurance requirements are and get them all done prior to the surgeon's office submitting anything. Don't give them a reason for denial.

mentalistfan 189 Posted March 26, 2014 Call your insurance and ask! Some Dr. offices are experts at what you need also, because they deal with insurance companies everyday, good luck!
debrajoann 0 Posted March 26, 2014 Thank you ladies. I got kind of down today when my boss told me our insurance chooses not to cover any weight loss surgeries..i called my family doctor and she told me not to worry and let the insurance ladies work their magic. Praying for a miracle!!(: And i hope i hear good news soon. The wait is killing me.
SnohoGal98296 371 Posted March 26, 2014 Hmmm, if it is a true "exclusion" then there is nothing their insurance gal can do, if it is a "well they haven't approved anybody yet", then a talented insurance coordinator can work miracles. ..
