dc2beslim 3 Posted March 25, 2014 2 weeks out and I started getting nauseous after eating. Anyone else? Will it go away? Sticking to liquids and puréed foods. Have a cold. Could it be mucus in the stomach? 1 elfnow reacted to this
elfnow 277 Posted March 26, 2014 Could be just that your stomach isn't used to food lately... Yes, also mucus!! Take it slow and back off if you don't feel well (don't push it!)... Be gentle to your stomach! 1 ziggypbang reacted to this
dc2beslim 3 Posted March 26, 2014 Thank you. That actually makes me feel better. Taking zofran but can't seem to get much in. Thanks again!! 1 elfnow reacted to this
lsereno 2,525 Posted March 26, 2014 Yes it will go away. When you stomach bothers you, go back to the earlier stage for a few days before trying the same foods again. Those tiny tummies are very picky early out! Lynda 2 elfnow and ziggypbang reacted to this
ziggypbang 272 Posted March 26, 2014 Don't worry. I'm still struggling with nausea at 4 months, but it's much better than it was originally. I never actually vomited, and I much prefer the slight nausea to the bottomless pit I had pre op! The first two weeks on soft food were super tough, nausea wise. It wont stay this rough, truly! Best wishes! 1 elfnow reacted to this
dc2beslim 3 Posted March 26, 2014 Thanks. My appetite hSs disappeared so it's tough getting in food. Have to force myself to eat. But you make me feel hopeful!
elfnow 277 Posted March 26, 2014 Don't force yourself!!! That's the whole point! You don't have to eat if you don't want - drink fluids and sip Protein Shakes as tolerated but don't force yourself to eat!
