question about weightloss documentation efforts

Recommended Posts

Ok so I know I really need to talk to my provider etc but I'm impatient. That being said I was wondering if talking about weightloss with my doctor and seeing a nutritionist once or twice through them would count towards efforts of weightloss if the doctor documented it. I am at a 54 BMI so don't need to worry about the co morbidity issues. Just trying to get ahead of the game. Thanks for any and all help.

I did read where someone on here got to back up for talking about weight loss, but not sure about your insurance and I think you have to see a specific nutritionist.
