annieM 2 Posted April 4, 2007 Welcome to band-land! Three weeks after surgery for a fill is really the fast lane. Most of us had to wait six weeks. (two weeks liquids, two weeks mushies and two weeks solids then a fill) How are you feeling? Are you experiencing any restriction from post surgery swelling? The days can be long but the weeks still fly by. You will start to lose soon.

appspaul 0 Posted April 5, 2007 Hi everyone thankyou all for your words of welcome , I tried to answer your email Anniem but it came back saying it had failed to reach you . we think the doctor may of meant to say she will sending me a letter in two weeks with an appointment date to fill the band , that would mean around six weeks untill i have the first fill, anyway ill wait for the letter and then i will know whats on her mind . I have quite a bit of bruising and swelling from the surgery but each day it gets a little better . Has any one had any trouble with reflux or burning in the tummy area after surgery ? have had a couple of bad nights with it . I was 133kgs on the day of surgery {30 march} and I have got on the scales this morning {thursday 5th april }and am now 127.9 kgs but I think this might be more from the surgery turning my body clock on its head than from the band at this stage. thanks ....Paul
