vincereautmori 323 Posted March 24, 2014 I'm in the final stages of my decision, hopefully by next month at this time, I will be on my way to better health. I've learned a lot from all of the people on this site, and it has helped me immensley. As a kind of final question of curiosity, aside from the obvious physical differences, how has this operation changed you?
GotItDoneInHarlem 302 Posted March 24, 2014 Besides the obvious amazing weight loss I've had (80 pounds since December 3rd) I have changed in the following ways.... *My life doesn't revolve around food anymore *I am more confident *I no longer take 2 blood pressure pills or a cholesterol pill *I am in a relationship after hiding from others for years *I have more money *I have more energy *I spend more time with family and friends *I sleep better *My back doesn't hurt every day *Sex is back *I look younger *I feel younger *My skin is better *I enjoy shopping for clothes *I just FEEL better This and so many more things. Like almost EVERYONE on this site, my only regret is waiting as long as I did. 3 niassy151, Journey2BNThin and vincereautmori reacted to this
wholenewlife 50 Posted March 24, 2014 I am one year out as of yesterday and have lost a total of 103 pounds!! Aside from yes the obvious weightloss *I have gained so much more confidence *I stepped up my game at work and landed the promotion I had wanted but didn't think I could do it!! *Have learned it's ok to love myself and take me time as a wife and mother of 4 boys I always felt selfish taking time for myself. Now I realize how much I hurt us all not doing so. *Have discovered I love to exercise. I was always active even at 289 pounds but now the things I love are so much more fun!! *I am much stronger then I ever thought *shopping is so much fun *life is just all around more enjoyable I'm much happier! 2 Journey2BNThin and vincereautmori reacted to this
