My libido has increased, but it was indirectly because of surgery. Some weight loss with increased confidence caused it. So yes, the surgery can be at least the catalyst, if not the direct reason.

I have to say that it decreases libido at first...... maybe it gets better later.... I hope sorry to say this.

You need to be very careful. My surgeon told me that since there's a rapid weight loss, you become VERY fertile. So make sure you have a steady and dependable birth control if your libido and your lover get a little crazy
