DestinClair1983 72 Posted March 23, 2014 I've always been a side sleeper most of my life. And I just started noticing a few weeks ago, every time I wake up, the inner portions of both knees (the part of the knees that touch together when you lay on your side) are really sore when I wake up, and if I press on the during the day they're still sore. Anyone experience anything like that?? So weird! 1 dreamscometrue reacted to this
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted March 23, 2014 Yup. My bones are actually pressing together. Weird! I now sleep with a pillow between my knees. My chiropractor insisted. 2 kltklass and DestinClair1983 reacted to this
1Day1Life4Now 882 Posted March 23, 2014 I can't sleep on my side without a pillow between my knees. It helps to align your spine and gives a little bit of cushion between the knees. 2 kltklass and DestinClair1983 reacted to this
Georgia 2,908 Posted March 23, 2014 Oh, yes! . I have to "align" my legs to make sure they are not on top of each other when sleeping on my side since it's "bone on bone" now! Ha! And that is the truth !!! Not complaining about the problem since I NEVER thought i would have this issue! 2 DestinClair1983 and 1Day1Life4Now reacted to this
gomekast 559 Posted March 23, 2014 Ha! Yes! My 4 year old told me last week that she doesnt like my bones! She misses the warm squishy mommy. My butt is the worst tho..its all tailbone now. The knees took a bit to get used too, but now its the waist and hips i feel the most. Shoulders tol..never thought i would see skinny shoulders or clavicles! 1 DestinClair1983 reacted to this
920amy 409 Posted March 23, 2014 I have found I have a similar issue. I used to be a stomach sleeper. Now, I cannot get comfortable on my stomach unless I put a huge pillow underneath me! I've gone from a stomach sleeper to a back sleeper. very strange indeed! I still find myself trying to lay on my stomach to get comfortable and fall asleep sometimes, and then quickly realize...this isn't working anymore before rolling onto my back. 1 DestinClair1983 reacted to this

I can hardly sit at times.
jess9395 5,449 Posted March 23, 2014 OMG! I have just been noticing the knee thing when I sleep! I will have to try a pillow tonight! 1 DestinClair1983 reacted to this
capecoralgrandma 44 Posted March 23, 2014 I've had arthroscopic surgery on both knees and was told by my orthopedic surgeon to sleep with a pillow between my knees. I guess from the other replies this does help, but most times I wake up with the pillow being on the floor! Before this sleeve surgery I was told I need a total knee replacement, but I'm hoping as the weight comes off that I won't need it. Right now, I'm scheduled to get the gel shots in that knee in two weeks. 2 1Day1Life4Now and DestinClair1983 reacted to this
Sassy Pants1 186 Posted March 24, 2014 Yep. I've been sleeping with a pillow between my knees. Noticing the tailbone more and more these days. Still waiting to see clavicle bones. 2 1Day1Life4Now and DestinClair1983 reacted to this

I didn't think much about it, but reading everyone else's response let's me know I'm not crazy! I'm grabbing a pillow to try that tonight! 2 DestinClair1983 and 1Day1Life4Now reacted to this
