shannon26 41 Posted March 23, 2014 I've heard its completely normal but I can't help for feeling down. I'm a week and 4 days post op been doing everything the same as the first week and I've actually gained 3 pounds when my first week I lost 20. Can't help but think I'm gonna fail or the surgery isn't gonna work for me . I know its probably to early to get upset but I can't help it. just wanted to vent thanks! shmily 424 Posted March 23, 2014 Your body is still adjusting and trying to shed all the IV Fluid they pumped into you. No worries, stick to the plan and it will happen... 2 Valerie Mercer-Spencer and shannon26 reacted to this

Mississippi Girl 124 Posted March 24, 2014 I am going through the same thing. I am 12 days out. I know I have to be losing weight because i'm not eating that much, but the scales are hanging on to that weight. i know I am holding Fluid. I have faith it will start happening soon. Just wanted to encourage you because I have had all the same thoughts you've had. Good Luck! 1 shannon26 reacted to this

AprilHansen 109 Posted March 31, 2014 I just had surgery March 25. I hurt badly and haven't really lost weight yet. Right now I'm just concentrating on healing from this major surgery, and getting my fluids and Protein. I'm on vacation 1 shannon26 reacted to this
