Casie83 38 Posted April 13, 2014 Sooo excited! Did anyone have to drink magnesium citrate? OMG! You would think there wouldn't be anything to "clean" out after 10 days of liquids. I'm so ready to go sleep and wake up and get on the road. My prayers will be with everyone getting sleeved tomorrow. Casie83 38 Posted April 15, 2014 Woohoo! I'm sleeved! Surgery went great. I've been up walking a ton, the air they put in to inflate the belly has caused me the most discomfort by far. Erin414 34 Posted April 16, 2014 hi everyone! hope everyone is having a great time and recovering well! i am 7 days into my pre- op and i have lost 11 pounds. i am doing 3 shakes a day and 80+ ounces of clear fluids. i pee all day! its insane like i feel like im always running to the bathroom with the kiddos. I have 4 days til my surgery is anyone else experiencing irritability and crankiness? every soudn seems louder and smells seems more fragrant. i cook every night for the kids it is torture. last night they wanted to go to the movies so i took them and naturally i hold the youngest's popcorn bc she spills it everytime. the smell of popcorn was tempting me llol. I just learned i could season my broth with is nice but no salt. I am really anxious to just get the surgery oer with and start my healing. i feel like my body is going through such weird changes sometimes im freezing sometimes i feel like im in a suana. but usually always tired and low on patience haha. good luck everyone! Casie83 38 Posted April 16, 2014 How is everyone doing? I'm not doing so well at getting in my shakes or liquids. Every sip I take hits my stomach like a ton of bricks. I'm not in much pain, just sore from the air they filled my stomach up with. I'm hosting my daughters Easter egg hunt on Friday so I'm hoping and praying that I'll be feeling much better by then. No regrets so far, but I do look forward to getting to eat food again. I'm on liquids for the next 2 weeks. rhoste 21 Posted April 16, 2014 Oopps accidentally pushed send... I had a great experience at OCC and having the whole team wait on me hand and foot because I was the only patient was great!! So I'm sipping and walking and have had no pain, just taking the meds prescribed and doing well.
