Ree 215 Posted March 23, 2014 Your surgeon didn't explain this to you prior to surgery? I was a little freaked out by it too when I first heard that the little staples don't come out. capecoralgrandma 44 Posted March 23, 2014 Like the others have explained, the 3 rows of staples are what is holding your sleeve together. My surgeon even showed me pictures of what it would look like after surgery.
