right for me? 36 Posted April 24, 2014 I had my surgery on 3/20 and i've been on a 1 month stall. I'm freaking out! I'm still on pureed for 1 more week and if I can't lose weight this way, what the heck is going to happen when I start eating real food. Did I seriously go through this for nothing?! Chanlissa 15 Posted April 24, 2014 Hi chan! What was your surgery date? Mine was 3/25. I was at 315 at my consult, got to 299 on surgery day due to nerves and liquid diet.< /p> I'm at 275 right now. I can't believe I've lost forty pounds. It just seems so unreal. I have my month check up tomorrow and hopefully I'll be cleared to eat more regular food! How many calories do you usually average a day? I found out yesterday I have two middle ear infections and I couldn't sleep last night because I kept feeling things move and itch and hurt on there. I just hope this clears up before I go back to work on Monday! Good luck to you! Hi Lovit! Congratulations on your loss! My surgery was on March 21. I'm so ready for this stall to end and to start losing again! I have around 800 - 1000 calories a day, which I would like to get down some more.

I feel your pain. The stall really sucks when you're seeing everyone lose so much weight, and you just can't weight for yours to start coming off too. i_can_do_all_things... 0 Posted April 24, 2014 My surgery was 3/31, but I've hit a stall too. I am having trouble getting in all of my fluids though, which apparently will help a great deal. Is anyone else having trouble with this? I only drink Water, Decaf tea and Protein Shakes. I haven't had anything with sugar since 3/11. I even avoided Easter candy!! I, too, am hoping I didn't go through all of this for nothing.

I didn't think I'd ever get enough water, but I just had to try harder. Keep at it! And don't worry about this being for nothing. It will turn around soon enough and we'll all be posting pictures of our new bodies! 1 greensleeve reacted to this
i_can_do_all_things... 0 Posted April 24, 2014 @@Chanlissa - Thanks so much for your feedback. I'm going to make sure I drink until I float tomorrow. I also had a splenic infarct (sp?) from the surgery so I'm still a bit swollen and not quite up to speed yet. Has anyone else had their spleen be an issue? I would call your nutritionist and ask them. How many calories do you eat a day, how many carbs and how much Protein do you get? Are you measuring your waist to see if you are losing inches? jmgtexas 21 Posted April 25, 2014 Although it was not an issue for the first six weeks, I have been hungry all this week. I was in an easy routine of Protein Shake and greek (fit and trim) yogurt in the first few hours of the day. A 3P Protein pack for lunch. A low-fat mozzarella or Light Babybel snack. A dinner of about 200 calories eating protein first. Then another protein shake for about 800 calories. I drink herbal tea and crystal lite all day. My body has apparently decided it wants more and I'm fighting not to surrender. I've gone seven weeks without a single cheat food. I doing about 2 miles a day on the treadmill. But this feels like all the diets before the surgery. Has anyone else gone through this, how do you get past it? 1 PoohbearJohnson reacted to this

sleevie.wonder 306 Posted April 26, 2014 Hi guys just wanted to check in. Over 7 weeks out now and down 60 lbs. I am eating "regular" food which can be a challenge. Not in the sense that I want to eat bad things, but to me I still have so much restriction that I am full after 5 or less small bites. So it gets frustrating when I cook food and can't eat 98% of it, and most of the stuff doesn't make good leftovers. So a lot of wasted food . My calories are probably between 400-600 a day. Which oddly seems like so much to me. I keep carbs to a minimum. No more than 40-50 I'd say. When I do eat them it's whole grain stuff. I really hope everyone is doing well! Just taking it day by day. 1 PoohbearJohnson reacted to this
