BrandNewBrandy 79 Posted March 22, 2014 I think it is only a concern in the liquid/pureed stage of your diet. Once that is passed then we have Constipation to look forward too. I will be carrying extra undies and baby wipes with me for a bit lol 3 Susysleever, ProudGrammy and msfitn2014 reacted to this
NMJG 1,266 Posted March 22, 2014 Explosive juicy poop-farts. Carry extra clothes in your bag just in case. At the slightest hint of interest in the bowel area, head for a toilet. 2 ProudGrammy and msfitn2014 reacted to this
Sleevedmom 3 Posted March 22, 2014 I was sleeved on Wednesday, March 19th and have been miserable since coming home. I am on full liquids, so I tried 2 oz of injury protien shake. Horrible grumbling started about 1/2 hour later then I was in the bathroom. Called the advisory nurse and they said it will take your body a while to adjust. Today I didn't take in any protien shakes or dairy and made surei took a clathrate before I ate anything and have been ok. I will try protien again tomorrow. 1 msfitn2014 reacted to this
vogue 310 Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) My issues with starting came after taking laxatives to relieve Constipation. Or if I had anything sugary. That was for about first year. Now I still get the bubblies if I drink something sugary but at least I don't shart I wore strategically set sanitary napkins in my undies Edited March 22, 2014 by vogue 2 msfitn2014 and Jenelle reacted to this

FitnFabfor2014 358 Posted March 23, 2014 I haven't had any issues with sharting yet "thank goodness" BUT, farting is an issue sometimes. Usually after Protein. I will be walking and all of a sudden out comes the fart. I just keep walking and pretend I didn't hear it and hope to God it doesn't smell! 2 msfitn2014 and joyann45 reacted to this
Seela 1,187 Posted March 23, 2014 I have heard of this from a few others but it has never been a problem for me. However, I'm constipated most of the time 1 msfitn2014 reacted to this
NMJG 1,266 Posted March 23, 2014 GasX strips are great early on. They dissolve on your tongue. 1 msfitn2014 reacted to this
