LynRN 294 Posted March 22, 2014 Have you guys seen these? It's 15 grams of Protein in 70 calories and 2 carbs. I saw them at my local grocer and picked one up. I have to say that they taste way better than Isopure and are a lot less expensive. I wonder about Protein quality, though, as it is a whey/ collagen blend. Any thoughts? briely 10 Posted March 22, 2014 These are at GNC. 40 grams of Protein. These are nice for me because it's hard for me to eat protein. I don't like meat.
bobheist 85 Posted March 22, 2014 I was told to stay away from any Protein containing collagen.< /p>

I drink 10oz everyday now to get my protein in.
SnohoGal98296 371 Posted March 22, 2014 I'm curious why collagen based Protein is not recommended? I haven't heard this, so I am just curious on their reasoning. Maybe it is a quality thing or an absorbability thing?
bobheist 85 Posted April 30, 2014 Sorry it took me a month to see this... My dietician told me that collagen, while technically a Protein, isn't absorbed or isn't absorbed as well.
