oobbyb 1 Posted March 20, 2014 Its was two years ago today that I had RNY surgery. Kudos to Dr. George Ferzli who saved my life. After signing up and looking at some of the threads here, I recall what life was like before that day. As my memories of life before surgury start fading, taking time to recall and share my experiences is a worthwile thing to do. In my partuclar case, it was the best decision I ever made. Good luck in your journey, Bob 1 StephanieRR reacted to this

My two cents would be to stick to the pre op diet religiously, since it will shrink you liver, making the procedure easier for the surgeon. Good luck, and see you on the other side.
