tyt221b 63 Posted March 18, 2014 I'm getting mine removed tomorrow. Just wondering if most surgeons give you something first or if it's not that bad.
Doing It 4 Them 84 Posted March 18, 2014 How long has it been in? Mine was in for 2 weeks and it didn't hurt. It just felt a little weird coming out.
Kenny W 27 Posted March 18, 2014 They took mine out before I left the hospital. It was uncomfortable but nothing to bad. The left one hurt more because the nurse forgot to cut the stitch that was holding it in. Really getting the iv hurt more.
mobailey68 15 Posted March 18, 2014 The nurse told my that it might sting for a few minutes but it didn't. It just felt really weird. I could feel it unraveling in my belly but it didn't hurt at all. They took mine out that day after my surgery so it wasn't in very long. Hope you are doing well!

Wallflower7522 328 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) I'll be honest, mine hurt more than I expected based on what my other friends told me but It still wasn't that bad. It just felt like strong stomach cramps. Edited March 18, 2014 by Wallflower7522

Cherryhair 88 Posted March 19, 2014 You can feel it being pulled from your abdomen out of your body-weird pulling sensation but then instant relief once it's out
tyt221b 63 Posted March 20, 2014 You can feel it being pulled from your abdomen out of your body-weird pulling sensation but then instant relief once it's out This is exactly what it was like. The weirdest feeling I've ever experienced. It only took about 2 seconds, though, and it was all over. I felt 1000 times better immediately after it was out! 1 Doing It 4 Them reacted to this
