Just ate one of these for lunch. I tried to attach picture. It was perfect for lunch. They have 4 different kinds. I paid about 1.50$ last night at Target. Anyone else have any experience with these?post-203113-0-77816300-1395162165_thumb.jpg post-203113-0-77816300-1395162165_thumb.jpg

I have. They are good and I only paid $1 for them at farm fresh ( local grocery store). Perfect size and price.

I bought some of these, but wasn't paying attention to the fact they have 13g of fat. I know it's probably the nuts, but since I can't eat those yet, I'm not really sure of how to calculate that.

But it's a great idea!

Has anyone tried the nectar brand..... I heard one person say it was good. So far all the Protein drinks that i found that are low cal low fat and low carb taste like crap...... any suggestions.....??? I'm tired of spending my money to try out different Protein shakes that are horrible..... The shakes help me a lot to curb hunger between meals and for energy and healing....

Yes, and they are only $1 at my local wal-mart. I love the smoked turkey, and the chicken. I don't eat pork, so the 2 ham ones I can't say anything about. I don't mind the fat content, since I use them for lunch and that's not too bad for lunch. I have also used them to make omelettes, and just saved the nuts for later. :)

I can't tell from the pic. What is it? A snack? You get it at wal mart? I'm looking for something besides yogurt for lunch.

It's little cubes of lunch meat and cheese, and some nuts.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
