Malsr 49 Posted March 18, 2014 ...but I am so excited to start my pre-op "liver shrinking diet"! I found out less than 30 minutes ago that I am approved! I couldn't be happier right now. I was very successful with my Lap Band (until it failed), so I cannot wait to start my successful journey with my sleeve. Am I nervous? Yes, it's a big change. I'm voluntarily cutting off the majority of a major organ. Do I believe it's worth it? Absolutely. I need help on my weight loss journey and I am glad that I got the approval to get it. Midijola 19 Posted March 19, 2014 Hey there, my sleeve revision surgery is on April 9 too! I had my band out last November after 6 yrs in. I was also quite successful for a period of time till the band became unfriendly. I am excited but also very nervous, like you said cutting off half a bodily organ isn't something to take on lightly.
