i'm so proud of you! Entering Onderland is such a good feeling. I'm glad you found so much help and support on BP.

I love seeing the scale go down and feeling a difference in my clithes. I'm sure you have gone down at least a size by now. It feels so good to feel your old jeans getting loose in the thighs and waist. keep up the great work! Cya in the century club!

Congratulations! I just reached this milestone myself after a long struggle getting below 200. It seems like a dream that I will wake up from! Like you I feel like telling the world and now tell everyone my weight when I tried to hide it before. Now I am proudly 196-199!

Now we just need to keep it going. I am 5-10 and want to be in the 180s. What is your goal?

Thank you all!! I would be happy at 150lbs however I have heard that I may bounce down a little lower?? I am sure everyone is different. You are right, there is something so liberating at being below 200 lbs!!

Let's keep up the good work fellow sleevers! Cheers to all :)

you can get to 150. 100 lbs definitely doable and possibly more. take advantage of first year. I just had my 1 year anniversary and it's getting slower but still works.

I hit wonderland too but so unhappy about just spending seven days in the hospital due to my sleeve narrowing where my band was that created scar tissue. I had to have another surgery last Wednesday to balloon it and get it open. I'm so depressed I don't even care about the weight. I had sleeve surgery five weeks ago and had such a hard time recovering and now this. By week five I was supposed to be on soft meats and advanced and I'm still on full liquids with all kinds of surgery pain again where they opened me up. I'm sorry I did this surgery and I'm in a very bad place mentally. I know one day I will be happy to be in wonderland. I'm just so sick and weak I can't be happy and wear jeans and be happy. So for the venting but I had to get it out.

I'm so sorry for the path you find yourself on and I can't really relate to your journey but someone who can and is a great source of inspiration is RJs/beginning. Check her out. .. I think it would be helpful to you. Good luck

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
