my port hurts

I have lidocaine Patches that I adore. I use them for neuropathic pain, but I stuck one on my port site once (doc said I could them over incisions) when it was acting up and it helped. Its a topical thing so you don't get the whole body effects or digestive tract effects you would with NSAIDs. Its called lidoderm. Might be something to ask about if after time the port still bothers you enough.
