Rooben 1 Posted March 16, 2014 I've just seen something about no alcohol for 3 months after surgery. Is this true?
magtart 603 Posted March 16, 2014 The rules are different depending on your doctor.
Recycled 2,182 Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) If you don't drink any for 3 months.......then it's true. It appears everything just sorta depends on your tolerance for it. Some can, some can't. Some docs allow it, some don't. With alcohol, I believe there is typically more concern about sliding into an alcohol addiction, as a substitute for food addictions. CBF1000 13 Posted March 21, 2014 Well I already have the alcohol addiction, but hope to be rid of the food one next week! LOL
willow13 59 Posted March 27, 2014 Some surgeons will state you should not drink any alcohol as it is empty calories. My surgeon states this but as I dont drink it never bothered me.
