I didn't even bother with Vitamins until my follow-up blood test, and even then all the levels were fine, so I just take them for any added benefits.

I started taking my Vitamins on day 4. As far as food, every plan is different. I started pureed food on day 3 and that lasted until day 13. I'm on soft foods now for another couple weeks. I would ask your NUT if you aren't sure.
