I want to try it, but the cost is prohibitive for just trying. Does it taste as good as the canned stuff you put on nachos? Is it worth the cost? If any of you have tried it please give me feedback. I am on the liquid phase and just want something for puree phase that is not sweet. I hate to say it, but I'm already getting sick of chocolate and I love chocolate!

The stuff is caustic! I bought an entire package and threw it away. It tastes, wow I cannot even describe it. Almost like fake cheese Soup? Where it has that alkaloid aftertaste. I tried it different ways and each was horrible. I would not recommend it. Just an FYI some people say it tastes like kraft dinner cheese, or even package cheese sauce. I am generally a cheese sauce lover and can eat the crappiest stuff, this stuff was not even tolerable to me.

AutumnPunkin, you should've returned it! They have a 100% guarantee. I returned mine and had them send me another container of unflavored Protein powder, which I add a bit to my coffee each morning. (Then I don't feel guilty having non-nutritious coffee... LOL)

The cheese sauce wasn't BAD, it just wasn't good either! I kept a baggie of it, thinking I'd use it sometime, but I still haven't done so. Maybe someday.

You might want to ask if you can just try a couple of pkgs. I recently tried them & I feel like I was missing out - their shakes are really good. I am not a fan of Protein Shakes, but these were honestly good :)

Oops double post hehe. I agree, I should have returned it. I forgot about their guarantee. I remembered fortunately WHEN I bought their Vitamins. Hehe

I actually liked it preop. Dipped green veggies in it and my favorite was mixing it in tortilla Soup broth base. But post op I wasn't as much of a fan. I still used it all...mixed in tortilla broth and cream of chicken soup and even poured over eggs, but it just wasn't as yummy as before and I won't buy anymore. I do still like their unflavored powder and strawberry sorbet and chicken soup.

I've added it to chili to up the Protein. It wasn't horrible but not something I would buy again. Some people really like it.

I was wondering about the Unjury cheese sauce. I have the plain and chicken Soup. I was attempting to add some options that weren't sweet. Thanks for the reviews!

I was so crushed by the saltiness of their chicken broth that the thought of a fake cheese sauce just about bowled me over! Glad there are folks out there who confirmed my suspicions!

The taste was ok for the cheese sauce. Just like some Protein powders are only ok. But I actually found it was more calories than I wanted to use on something that's just ok. I gave it to a relative that has a toddler that is currently not eating meat. She mixes in with other cheese stuff and says the whole family doesn't notice. But again that would prolly be more calories than I would want to eat.

For the poster that said the chicken broth was salty, I found that if I mixed it with 10 oz of Water (or even veggie broth) instead 8 oz I didn't notice the salt. I also used it as a broth base for other Soups and as long as I didn't add any additional salt I thought it was fine.

As for their chewable Vitamins, you're not going to get around that taste. They have a lot of Iron and that is just gonna taste like a Vitamin no matter what. But of all other comparable Vitamins, I still think they are best in taste and offer the most vitamins.

Thanks for all of your replies! I suspect there are more who dislike it than like it, so I will pass on ordering it and just get regular cheeses sauce and cheese. After all, regular cheeses have a lot of Protein in them! I do like their Protein shakes as well, but they are sweetened with sucralose and I am trying to stay away from artificial sweeteners. I'm sticking with stevia sweetened Protein and plain for now.

The Vitamins, are awful. My daughter tasted one and said it tasted like fruit loops and broccoli! I'm going to use them up, but I won't reorder. The D3 is not bad, but the multi and Calcium are not very pleasant, to say the least.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
