gruiz27 218 Posted March 14, 2014 I'm 6 weeks out of my sleeve and was wondering can we have scrambled eggs with at least 1 yolk and 2 egg whites. ? And some ketchup?
1Day1Life4Now 882 Posted March 14, 2014 Every doctor's plan is a little different so check on the plan they gave you. My doctor let me start having scrambled eggs at 3 weeks. I can only handle one egg max.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted March 14, 2014 I also started whole eggs in week three post-op. I have one every day. ketchup on eggs is not my thing, but I do tolerate it on meat loaf at three months now.
robinson 2 Posted March 14, 2014 I like to soft boil an egg and put a little vinager and salt! One is all I can tolerate but it is delicious!! Scrambled eggs seem to take way to long to chew!! You can chew and chew and chew and they are still a little chunky!!
Kindle 8,667 Posted March 15, 2014 I started eggs at 3 weeks out. But they always seemed too dry and very chewy, so I kind of got sick of them. Just this week I started craving my grandma's scrambled eggs. She was very thrifty and always added Water to make them "go further". She also tended to cook on a lower heat skillet. Not only did this give them that distinctive "grandmas eggs", flavor, they ended up being very melt in your mouth soft. Definitely better than the chewy version I wasn't liking.
