I can't wait until my calf shrinks smh haven't worn a pair of thigh high boots in over 10 years. The stretchy types just don't look or feel the same.

I was barely fitting into a 10M. 10w was too wide but medium was kinda tight

Just yesterday I purchased an 8 1/2 medium. most of those shoes I've purchased this winter were a 9 but I've needed 81/2 in a few.

I've given away over 100 pairs of size 10's. The shoewhore that I am have replaced about 40 pair so far. Can't wait to go shopping for sandals

You all give me soo much hope!! I went from a size 10 to an 11 to now a 12 since the birth of my two kids 11 years ago!

If I could go back to an 11 or a 10 that would be freakin awesome!! I can't find size 12 shoes anywhere except for payless or Lane Bryant!!

Hey nona....do you live anywhere near NYC? I ask because believe it or not, there are lots of shoe stores here in the city that cater to drag queens and they carry quite a nice selection of shoes in larger sizes. If you can get here, you may find lots to choose from.

Nordstrom has a big foot sale a few times a year. Size 10 is smallest size

Oh...and I'm clothes shopping as well. I like to look/feel cute EVERYDAY and that's kinda of hard wearing ill fitting clothes. :D

I'm not even sure when after surgery to go shopping the good news I work a lot and can wear scrubs. Though I know a lot of me working alot is because I don't feel like nothing fits me right so I use the excuse rather work than go out...such a lie.

13-12. I have some awesome Florsheims that I got just to do a wedding that tortured my feet. Now they are friendly with room to spare. 12's are easier to find than 13's for sure.

My feet have somehow gotten longer . . . but skinnier. Was a 10W and am now an 11M.

Hmmm. Bufflehead, I am glad you said that. I didn't want to admit it to myself! I have been a size 10 since like the fourth grade, but lately, they have seemed tight! That has NEVER happened. I could always just go and buy shoes, not even try them on and they would fit....but not now!

well apparently I am not far enough out when it comes to shoes getting smaller...as for shopping for clothes doing very little of that either...I want to get to a certain weight before I start shopping, but am looking forward to maybe losing a shoe size that would be great too!!! This was a fun topic...enjoyed!!! Thanks for the smilies.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
