Daisalana 33 Posted April 2, 2007 I have been re-reading some threads trying to find direct information on it... My doctor mentioned taking pre-natal Vitamins for pre-menopausal women post-op, chewable. The nurse mentioned takings a once daily vitamin-chewable. I know about Protein Shakes, but I've heard people mention unflavored Protein Powder you can add to food (which I'd prefer, I hate those shakes). I've looked at GNC, and some other online websites, and this is all greek to me. Should I get a chewable pre-natal AND multi-vitamin.. and what brand is the Protein? whey proten (All the Whey) doesn't say any of them are unflavored.. they say "a clean great tasting"..which does not appeal to me! Also told to do chewable Calcium, already found a brand of that I like. So is there another thread or anyone have specifics on brands of things to get for post-op vitamins & supplements? ReneBean 3 Posted April 2, 2007 Pre-natals might even be overkill - since we absorb all the nutrients from our food. I switch between children's chewables and Centrum. Childrens chewables are great - cause if you have eaten a lot of food, or had Protein shakes that have 50% of your daily Vitamin value, then you can just take one... You CAN od on some Vitamins - so don't take too many of anything. Good luck with the protein... I tried unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powder and found it repulsive - but a lot of people seem to like that one. Try to get small quantities of anything until you know what you like and how it works for your life. Hugs!
