Bluesea71 698 Posted March 13, 2014 My surgery isn't until April 16th and I'm not required to do any pre-op diet! Just the usual no food or drink after midnight the night before. I asked the dietitian about it and she said it wasn't standard practice and if it was, as a center of excellence, they would be mandated to follow suit to keep their standing. I have elected on my own to eat a high protein/low carb diet and I'm amazed how much my gut is already shrinking pre-surgery!

Its up to the surgeons as far as I can tell. Maybe they think having a strict diet will help lower their complications rate which if it were too high might cause them to lose their excellence standing? But hey, sounds good for you! Good luck! I have mine April 15th!
JustMeJFD 32 Posted March 13, 2014 Go to Premier's website and enter in your zip code. In I'm Michigan, they have them at Walmart, sams club, and Meyers. No Premiere Protein for sale here in Oklahoma! Only the bars. I do like the Pure Protein ready made drinks.< /p>
