I went to Mexico in mid-December, no regrets! I had excellent care with Dr. Ariel Ortiz. No complications and 66 lbs down.

Start drinking lots of Water now. Stop soda, start multi-Vitamins. I started exercising a few days a week 2 months before surgery and I think it helped my recovery. Work on taking small bites and eating slower.

I am scheduled for may 30 with the amazing Dr Aceves. Can't wait! I think I will have the hardest time missing diet pepsi. Lol. I'm on a cruise now and enjoying the food but I know the next time it will be a bite here and there, and I'm OK with that. I have one more trip mothers day weekend, then it's strict diet and work out hopefully 3 times a week the 2.5 weeks until surgery. I'm very excited. I too had to buy some clothes before this vacation. Biggest I've ever been. Looking forward to not squeezing into little chairs in the theater ever again!

I'm having surgery on May 29th with Dr. Osuna. Surgery is in Tijuana Mi Doctor Hospital. Is anyone having difficulties finding a aftercare doctor like me? My primary physician recently moved to another state its getting difficult finding a doctor that would take me.
