aNewTanya 109 Posted March 11, 2014 I'm still pre-op. Yesterday I started getting a sharp pain in my abdomen. It got worse as the night went on. I didn't have diarrhea or vomiting although a couple of times I felt like I could have thrown up. The pain in still there. Not as bad. I'm scared to eat. I googled the symptoms and it keeps bringing up gallbladder attack. Anyone experience one?

Mine was so bad I couldn't eat or sleep. I went to the ER and after an ultrasound found gallstones. I had my GB removed and things have been great since!! Ariella 73 Posted March 11, 2014 For me it was intense pain that felt like bad acid or gas times 50, also it radiated to my back. I had it happen several times over a few months, at first they would go away in a few hours, and the last one that sent me to the er lasted for about 12 hours. They found gall stones and just took that baby out the next day.
aNewTanya 109 Posted March 11, 2014 Thanks for your replies. My pain doesn't seem similar. I'm going to urgent care to have it looked at.
jess9395 5,449 Posted March 11, 2014 Mine was never acid or gas like. It was just aching burning pain in my side and back. I thought the first few were backaches and then had a other series of attacks after some kidney stones so thought it was related to that.
