Should I still have pain?

I am 4 weeks post op and I am still having sharp, burning pain just above the major incision where they remove the stomach. I realize that there are internal stitches but wow! This hurts worse than right after the surgery! Did my dr use barbed wire to sew me up? Lol! How long should this last? Did any of you have this as well?

I would not panic at all. My incisions were painful for a long time, especially the main one but talking to your doctor is always a good idea when you are unsure.
