skinnygirl2b 79 Posted March 12, 2014 it's good to have support and a little extra encouragement. I am like an open book so I tell everyone. Some people don't understand it but most are very proud of me for doing it. People have even approached me about having surgery and are seeing my surgeon so I feel good if I can help somebody else. My mother lives in SC so it's nice to surprise her with my changing size every few months.
JoJoV23 11 Posted March 12, 2014 I think I will tell more people after I just don't want people trying to talk me out of it! Last night my husband took me out to buy my supplements and Protein! He was very hesitant about the surgery at first but now he sees how excited I am and he has come around! Although I know when he sees me in pain he won't be happy. Kittenheart 28 Posted March 18, 2014 Hi Ann22 Would love to buddy up. I live in Michigan. I have been in the process for 8 long months I simply cannot wait for next week. Although a bit nervous, but I think its more a feeling of being in limbo rather than fear. I look forward to sharing with you as we start our journey. JoJoV23 11 Posted April 6, 2014 My surgery was 3/26 and I'm feeling good. Water has been the hardest thing for me but that seems to be getting better. Last I weighed I am down 13lbs since surgery.
angiem1973 11 Posted April 6, 2014 That's great! I was done 3/27 and was doing great until today.... I've been a little off and had a hard time drinking today- feels like a lump in my throat.
JoJoV23 11 Posted April 6, 2014 That happens to me when I eat or drink too fast. I also find everyday is different. Some days I am so hungry and feel I can't stop eating (I am on fluids, Protein Shakes, yogurt, sf pudding and strained cream soups) and some days I have to force myself to eat. RNC111 4 Posted April 6, 2014 @RJCmommy....I'm not having any pain but I have zero energy. Just started puréed food today and it was great to finally have something besides liquids but I didn't come close to Protein goal. What are you eating?
RJCmommy 2 Posted April 6, 2014 Still on Clear Liquids. My next follow up appt is on Tuesday and hoping I can start having puréed foods.
