Karen12 8 Posted March 10, 2014 I've lost nothing in 4 weeks... I think my problem is not drinking 64 fl ozs of Water, making sure I have 60-70 grams of Protein and also counting my calories. I'm basically not eating or drinking much so I think my body is just getting used to the way I eat. I've read my post op diet package and there is nothing on there about how many calories per day... Can someone tell me please? Had surgery dec 9th lost 48 lbs
magtart 603 Posted March 10, 2014 I asked my NUT a couple of weeks ago and she said not to worry about calories, just Protein and Water. That said, I am shooting for around 800 a day. 1 catnapper reacted to this

Kennedy 100 Posted March 13, 2014 My NUT didn't want to give me a number but finally realized I had to have a number . She told me at least 1200 but closer to 1400 for my body size. I struggle with getting that many cals because I feel guilty. She tells me I would have lost a lot more if I would eat enough cals. I am now trying to hit at least 1200. I also drink at least 64 iz of Water, but usually hit 80+. I shoot for at least 85 g Protein as well.
