What protein supplements are you taking?

Premier Protein from costco gives you the most Protein for the least calories/money. chocolate, vanilla and strawberry with 30 grams of protein each. GNC shakes taste better, but only have 25 grams of protein.

I'm fourteen months out. I have a morning shake w/Chike high Protein coffee and crushed ice - delicious! It's like a Dunkin Donuts coffee coolatta and has two real espresso shots in it so it replaces my morning coffee. Added bonus: my chronic Constipation problem disappeared as soon as I began using it back in April.

I like CrunchO's Protein Snacks and occasionally I eat a Quest Protein Bar (at work or while shopping). I eat one Greek yogurt w/Bare Naked protein granola or a small amount of pecan pieces. Just those things daily put me between 45 - 55gr of protein. When I add my lunch and dinner it puts me well over 60gr but not usually over 90gr. My meals consist of tuna, shrimp, cheddar, egg whites, burger, turkey meatballs, or turkey chili - w/steamed veggies and a little (very little) brown rice, wheat Pasta, or Quinoa salad.

I'm 3 weeks post op. Right now I'm using powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, Premiere, Isopure and GENEPRO. I'm going to try and use up the first three (since I'm cheap) then switch to GENEPRO only (it's odorless and tasteless). I'm at 60g a day but my goal today is 90g. :)

I'm exactly 8 months to the day past my surgery. My surgeon said to take in 72 grams a day. It was difficult for me at first because I'm allergic to dairy and severely allergic to eggs. I also don't like the grit that I've found in most of the vegan Protein Shakes. I actually found a great vegan shake at Lifetime Fitness, you just can't let it sit for a while because it gets narly. I found a soy milk that has 7 grams per cup of Protein so I use it in coffee, too. The extra protein soy milk is the only way I can hit the 72 grams. chicken and tuna at lunch or dinner also helps, as does pork.
