Does anyone know how long post op before you can take gel capsule meds such as peri Colace? thank you

Funny thing is I started taking my Rx's at the hospital after surgery. I would ask the Dr's office or NP when will be the safe time for you to take your medication just to safe and healthy!

My dr. recommend piercing the gel cap with a needle or small cut and squeeze the liquid inside into an ounce of Water

I started 3 days post op, have never had a problem with them, surgeon just told me to make sure I wait 15 minutes between pills
