green*eyed*girl 170 Posted March 8, 2014 Hello my UK sleevers! I am scheduled to be sleeved on April 14th. This is my time now to get everything ready for my surgery, and I would like to know what brand of foods and dietary supplements are you using? I ordered my Protein from MyProtein and tasted it, happy with it! I read the American sleevers, and they have Crystal Light (I have ordered some but it's quite pricy here in the UK), what is the british substitution for Crystal Light? What is that dietary supplement you could not live without? Where you get your Vitamins from? Sorry but I am clueless and I need help please... 2 able2cope and Band2Sleever reacted to this

PeachyDexter 14 Posted March 11, 2014 Green eyed girl, Hi...... The herbalife shakes are fab. You can add so many different fruits to the high Protein mixture to change the taste. I've started having one for Breakfast and am due to start my pre op diet on 20 th April. They are so tasty and don't feel like they are a diet aid. Just google herbalife and you will find your local agent to order from. Hope your ok x 1 green*eyed*girl reacted to this

I will search them to see how much Protein and carb they have. What do you plan on drinking? I've heard loads of people are having problem with Water at the beginning, and I am not a big Water drinker anyways, but I am trying to find a good drink that is zero or close to zero calories and not carbonated. Do you have any suggestion? Good luck with your pre-op diet, I am so glad I do not have to do that, but decided to start watch what I eat and cut back a lot 2 weeks before my surgery! PeachyDexter 14 Posted March 12, 2014 Hi Guys, Peach flavoured low cal iced tea. It's not fabulous but it will add a little variety. Make sure it's chilled because slightly warm is gross. A friend of mine mentioned green tea...... It is foul and I'd rather lick my windows on a rainy day !! She also mentioned fruity teas. They smell delicious but tastes like perfumed washing up Water...yuk. Warm Water with barely a hint of fruit, not pleasant. I'd rather suck a fresh orange!! Keep me informed I case you find an amazing alternative, I'm still trying. Take care Peachy 1 green*eyed*girl reacted to this
green*eyed*girl 170 Posted March 13, 2014 Oh my, how funny, lick my windows on a rainy day!!! lol Yeah I feel the same about fruit tea, I would only drink it if it's ice cold. But still I feel a gross after-taste.... Green tea would be nice as it is healthy but I do not fancy green tea. I am still trying :/ For now I have the CrystalLight, ready for aftermy surgery, I know they are delicious. I will keep looking for a UK alternative
