Tamlyn 107 Posted March 7, 2014 Hi! I've been a long time lurker on the site and I'm just now getting up the nerve to post. I'm hoping/planning to get sleeved this summer. My insurance doesn't cover WLS (thank you, stupid employer), so I'll be self pay and I think I'll be having it done in Mexico. I haven't decided which doctor yet, but I'm excited. And nervous. kltklass 144 Posted March 7, 2014 Welcome to the site. Who are you planning to do your surgery? If you haven't chosen yet, I would recommend Dr. Fernando Garcia with Ready4Achange.com. He did my surgery in August 2013 with no complications. He and his staff are awesome! Your feelings are normal. I too alternated between scared and excited. I glad you got up the nerve to post. Anyway, I hear there are some great doctors in Mexico, and I'm sure you will get some good recommendations here.
