Bandista 7,466 Posted March 6, 2014 Excellent! So happy for you. I am four months out as of yesterday. It was definitely a process -- started in June last year and had my surgery in November. But so worth every single one of those hoops! Best wishes. And spring, what a great time for renewal. By the way, I was really happy I upped my exercise regime so I had something to step into right after banding. I think all the walking helped make me a better patient and helped me heal up quickly. Good luck on the Sugar Busters. You're going to do beautifully! 1 Ga Gurl reacted to this

Lumpy 18 Posted March 6, 2014 Congrats! I went thru hell too. I ended up doing 10 months because I had to start over with the 6 mos hoop because I had two appointments too close to gether but in different months. That SUCKED! But I finally got it all done and approved and had the band Dec. 2007. I was 250, went to 150 and now at 170 and happy! Trying to loose 10 lbs now. I got off track this fall. Wooo Hooo...... Ga Gurl 30 Posted March 7, 2014 Lumpy, Congrats on your success and for sharing. Stories like your have kept me motivated to not get frustrated with all the pre-surgery antics. I knew (and know) going into this it was a marathon and not a sprint. Wishing you continued success!!!
