Memily 86 Posted March 6, 2014 I am a bit over 3 months out, lately....I feel like I can eat more. It is scary...and I have not lost for almost 2 weeks and I had just broken a stall a few days before this one. Has anyone else had this happen?
McButterpants 2,846 Posted March 6, 2014 I have been thinking this, too. If I remember right, our surgery dates are close (I was 11/14/13). I can definitely eat more than a month ago. But here's what I experimented with lately - if I use my Eat Slower app and set it to 45 seconds between bites, not only do I chew more and slow down, I eat less. Eating in a more calm mental state, allows me to more easily identify when I'm full. Another thing I keep thinking of when I eat - I only want to eat enough to rid myself of the hunger, not eat until I'm full. There's a difference. I have to remind myself to pay attention. Eating slower and chewing more helps. I think in the past few weeks, I allowed myself to get off track. Nothing bothers my sleeve, so I can just about anything. 4 Memily, Domika03, jallsop and 1 other reacted to this
Seela 1,187 Posted March 6, 2014 I was sleeved about a month before you two and about a month ago I went through a few weeks where I was eating 1300-1400 calories a day. Scared the crap out of me! Then I just couldn't. Now I'm back down to 600-800 calories a day again. I don't know, Weird. .. 1 Memily reacted to this
Madam Reverie 2,958 Posted March 6, 2014 At approaching 6 months out, I can eat 1200 calories plus without a second thought. It really is scary. I have resorted to using MyFitnessPal to make sure I hold myself accountable. 2 sweet_jimjammy and McButterpants reacted to this
