Protein - or that you shouldn't follow your own doctor's instructions. I'm just reporting the news because I know so many of us are interested in protein quantities and (with any luck) we will all be old enough to care about this study at some point

I saw this too. It's a good news bad news story for me. I've had a big animal Protein diet for about 40 years. Now that I'm 65, it seems like it's recommended. So, what's going to kill me? My high Protein diet for the last 40 years or will I now survive longer because not much has changed except the quantity?

Fortunately, this is just one study.
