Spicy foods?

I absolutely LOVE spicy food and it just occured to me last night that this may be a problem after surgery. Anybody got any advice? It certainly isn't more important than losing weight for me, but i would like to be prepared. Thanks!

Me too. I love spicy food. I had jalapenos just yesterday without a problem.

I used to have a problem before surgery, Dr fixed a hiatal hernia during surgery, now I CAN eat spicy foods, so they should be fine.

I love to chop jalapenos up and put them in my Tomato Soup. But since I am only 3 days past surgery, I think I'll wait on that. LOL.
