moonlitestarbrite 902 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) wanted to pass on my experience. one of my whines about exercising after this surgery is not being able to take motrin for muscle soreness. but my massage therapist introduced me to magnesium oil. you use it sparingly on sore muscles (it can be a little stingy or itchy when you first put it on) and it WORKS GREAT. i got mine at vitacost.com, but you can get it at any health food store. mrsto 2,925 Posted March 5, 2014 Thanks for the tip! I never knew there was an oil. Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate, which is what makes them work so well, too. But the oil is great when you're not near a bathtub 2 moonlitestarbrite and catnapper reacted to this
cheryl2586 3,053 Posted March 5, 2014 If you stretch good after exercise your muscles shouldn't be sore. That means you are not releasing all the lactic acid in your body after a work out.
