billie70 2 Posted March 5, 2014 Hello, fellow sleevers I'm new to this site. I was sleeved on 2-18-14. I'm having trouble sleeping on my sides at night. Having trouble moving into the purée phase and with all the nasty weather I'm not getting to walk and I'm not seeing a lose on the scale. HELP
swimbikerun 1,046 Posted March 5, 2014 What is your Protein and water/liquid intake per day? Also, you can lose inches and not see anything on the scale. There are also plateaus at times, and yes a month out or so is the first one I've seen.
billie70 2 Posted March 5, 2014 I'm not having any trouble getting in my Protein Shakes or Water. It's just I'm having trouble moving into the purée diet it just doesn't taste right. And I'm having trouble sleeping at night and not exercising it just seems it all hit and one time and then not losing a pound!!! Makes me wonder what I did? LRG2014 55 Posted March 5, 2014 You haven't done anything wrong!!! Your body is adjusting...Make sure you are drinking plenty of water...It took a while before I could sleep on my side and just now have been able to sleep on my stomach...Try putting a pillow between your legs and another close to your stomach..that helped me..Don't weigh every day!!! I didn't puree any food..I just went to a thicker Soup and yogurt..A bite or two at a time was all I could manage..Hang in there!!!
NMJG 1,266 Posted March 5, 2014 Hi Billie, My thoughts on your situation: You may well be starting the 3 week stall. Don't sweat it, just wait it out. Don't push yourself into the next food phase. Move on when it feels comfortable. Can you find any sort of puree that you like? As others suggested, only weigh weekly or even less. For sleeping, try sleeping on your back with a lot of pillow support. I use up to 6 pillows under my back and it's quite comfy now. Started this right after surgery. Also, try some Sleepy Time tea before bed. Hope you feel better.
