26, newbie...gastric bypass at sinai baltimore md

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here and new to the process. I have my first consult appt with the surgeon at Sinai hospital of Baltimore, dr Li. I am leaning heavily towards gastric bypass vs my other options. Just looking for some advice, a pen pal, and some insight into the process. Thanks so much

I'm in Frederick MD. My surgeon is in NoVa but I'm only 2 weeks into the process. I walked into the office sure I was going to have a sleeve, but now I'm set on the bypass. My surgeon talked about the pros/cons to bypass and sleeve and let me pick. He was leaning toward BP and I ended up there with him.

Hi newbie congrats on your choice to be healthy, this is going to be an exciting time for you, I had to do. 6 month weight management and I will be meeting with the surgeon on Wednesday to get a date, this is a great forum to learn, share, vent, and get ideas .I look forward to following your journal.
