Sticky residue?

Has anyone else had trouble removing the sticky residue from the skin caused by the steri-strips? How can I remove it??

Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or pad, and rub, rub, rub. Don't rub too hard, though, I had some very tender skin around my incisions after surgery.... Or you can be patient, and it will wear off on it's own...

I took my time scratching it off since all the scrubbing in the world did not seem to remove the stickiness.

It was totally annoying, but I just let it wear off on its own. I didn't want to prevent healing of my incisions. Be careful!

Acetone works great to remove the sticky stuff. Make sure not to get any one your incisions or OUCH!
