Does anyone use these? I bought some since I am always constipated. I am 2 weeks post op. I popped one in my mouth and had to spit it out because I was afraid I could not get it chewed enough (on puree stage) If anyone uses these, how long before you started? Or would I be better off going and buying some Fiber that dissolves in liquid?

I am just 3 weeks out and I started taking them two days ago. It takes me about 10 minutes to nibble on them and they work. (TMI) I haven't been this regular in months.

I'm not supposed to take Gummy anything until I'm 2 months out, because with your stomach healing it can get caught in there, and your stomach can't process it right yet.

Guess I should try nibbling instead of popping the whole thing in my mouth LOL. I thought they would just kind of dissolve.

I've been taking them since I was around 2 weeks out. I chew them into little bits and then let them dissolve in my mouth. I like the peach flavor the best.

I have been taking the Gummy Vitamins since the day after the surgery. Never had a problem with any gummy products (vitamins, Calcium, fiber, fish oil or B12 ) Now that I am almost 40 weeks out I am switching to tablets since the gummys are "getting old" (not out of date, just tired of the sweet and texture)

I've been chewing the fiber gummies and love them. Probably should chew them more than I have been but I haven't had a problem :)

I started Fiber gummies about a week ago. Hit a stall and realized that I hadn't had a movement. Also took Miralax for about 3-4 days and sure enough they got things moving and I've lost about 7 pounds in the last week. I will be taking 2 fiber gummies twice a day from now on. I chew them until they are liquid before I swallow and I always sip on Water afterwards to make sure I have washed them down real good.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
