Steph W-O 75 Posted March 2, 2014 I'm 5 weeks post op and have suddenly started experiencing severe nausea. I've thrown up three times in the last two days. I haven't really changed my diet at all over the last week. And throughout this whole process, the only time I experience nausea was the day of surgery. Any insight or advice? Thanks! Catherine707 253 Posted March 3, 2014 I had a similar problem yesterday. I hadn't had any nausea since being in the hospital 9 months ago, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I don't know why, but I took an anti-nausea medication (Zofran) and it was better w/in 15 minutes. Maybe there is a stomach bug going around? I didn't eat or drink anything unusual either. I hope you are feeling better now!
Steph W-O 75 Posted March 3, 2014 Thanks so much! Maybe a bug. I've been taking it easy today on the foods - back to some more basics and have been OK. Hopefully it was just a fluke for you too!!!
