Sometimes after fills you are swollen and can not just do 24 hours of liquids but more then that. If you are still fresh post op losing weight fast is nothing to worry about. You're not worried about nutrition at this point you are worried about healing. We all have had plenty of fat to sustain us when we were in the post op phase.

I'm 3months original post op...... one week since reopening port incision..... is that considered post op enough for the swelling to still be an issue?

Sounds like you might be a bit tight. Another 24 hours on liquids might help, but please call your doctor if you aren't able to eat tomorrow.

I had a fill on 2/24/2014. I am still going back and forth from liquids, mushies and solid. I am sticking with this because I can eat solids without issues at times. but sometimes I can't. I think all the time it would just be easier if I get some Fluid removed. but I got this band to do a job I wasn't able to do. control my eating. as long as I am keeping myself hydrated and can take my supplements I will be patient and not worry so much. I do get angry and frustrated but not worry. I wish you luck on the decision you finally make.
